Jeffrey Tosoian, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Translational Cancer Research in the Department of Urology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). He completed medical school and urology residency at Johns Hopkins, where he obtained an MPH in epidemiological and biostatistical methods for clinical research. He then completed a translational research and clinical fellowship in urologic oncology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Tosoian is the Chair of the National Cancer Institute’s Early Detection Research Network Genitourinary Collaborative. He treats urologic cancer patients at VUMC and the Nashville VA Medical Center. His research is focused on the development and clinical application of non-invasive tools for early detection and management of prostate and other urologic cancers. His work has been supported by the National Cancer Institute SPORE Career Enhancement Program, the Prostate Cancer Foundation, and the NIH/NCI Early Detection Research Network.
